Legal protection for married couples and families is an essential element of social stability. The goal of this international conference was to assist the Czech Republic to make its unique contribution to the present debate in the European Union. Foreign experts from Germany and United Kingdom, as well as Members of the Czech Parliament, opinion-makers, and journalists took part at the conference organised by Civic Institute on June 16.
