April 1, 2008 : Future of Ukraine

Civic Institute sponsored a seminar on the "Future of Ukraine" on Tuesday, April 1, 2008. The main speaker was Mr. Dušan Kulka, who had been a Member of the Czech Parliament in 1996-98 and a mayor of city Přelouč. Mr. Kulka is currently a consultant in the field of economic development and has been actively involved in the Ukraine since the end of 2004 - sice the Orange Revolution in the Ukraine. According to Mr. Kulka, Ukraine is a country with a promising future, however there is still a considerable way she must go in order to approach a full democratic standards.
